About Me
Hi, I’m Allison.
I’m a student who’s curious about how people move through the world and how systems affect the choices they can make. I tend to notice the small things first: the way information is presented, who feels comfortable asking for help, and what makes certain environments feel supportive while others don’t.
Most of my projects sit at the intersection of research, communication, and creativity. I often find myself in leadership positions and enjoy managing situations professionally and personally. I’ve worked on a research-based podcast, managed online operations for a nutrition brand, and built personal projects that helped me explore health, access, and prevention in more practical ways. I like turning complicated ideas into clearer, more approachable ones.
Outside of academics, I spend a lot of time doing things that let me relax and focus. Nail art started as a hobby and a way to save money, but it became a creative outlet that taught me patience and attention to detail. Skincare is another interest of mine, partly because I enjoy the routine, and partly because it connects to how I think about health and care more broadly.
Traveling has also shaped how I see things. Being in new places makes me more aware of culture, pace, and the systems people rely on every day. It’s one of the ways I’ve learned to step back, observe, and rethink assumptions.
This site is a collection of the work, ideas, and experiences that have influenced how I think so far.
